Norris Lake was created by Norris Dam and is surrounded by the counties of Anderson, Campbell, Claiborne, Grainger and Union. The lake flows 73 miles up the Clinch River and 56 miles up the Powell River from Norris Dam in East Tennessee! The lake is approximately 33,840 acres in surface area with 809 miles of shoreline. Water levels at full pool is 1,020 ft with a maximum depth at 196 feet.

There are 21 marinas on Norris Lake that offer boat slips, dry storage, boat rentals, houseboat rentals, vacation cabin rentals, floating home rentals, rv camping sites, fuel, marine supplies and more. Weekend live entertainment is also available during peak season. Boaters enjoy 15 restaurants accessible by water. 27 Public boat ramps are also available to support a variety of recreational activities.
